FESTIVALS - WEEKLY

Hire period is flexible to suit the timing of the festival.  Remember we have only one dedicated festival van which is booked on a first come first served basis. 

FESTIVALS - WEEKEND

Hire period from 15:00 on Friday to 11:00 Monday. 

Ned is our vintage festival campervan which we provide at a special rate and can be insured for drivers over 21yrs.  We also include an awning to store all your muddy boots (and friends!) so you can find your way back to the Dub.  Our brand new campervans can be used for festivals so long as they are not towed.

DAYS OUT

Hire period 18:00 to 18:00 the next day.  Other times may be available please call Stella to discuss your requirements.

WEDDINGS & HONEYMOONS

For that special day and romantic honeymoon we can add a little extra to the standard weekend (for weddings) or weekly (for honeymoons) package to include a bottle of champagne chilling in the fridge, a box of hand made truffles, flower arrangement to match the campervan, ribbons, signs (Just Married/On Honeymoon) and trailing tin cans. 

PARTIES & PROMS

Hire period 11:00 to 11:00 the next day.  Other times may be available please call Stella to discuss your requirements. Price includes your booked campervan decorated with Party or Proms signs, ribbons and balloons.  We can also a provide birthday cake and candles to order.

AWNING

High quality, drive away awnings for hire. Attach to the campervan to provide extra storage/living/sleeping space (sleeps two comfortably).

SATELLITE NAVIGATION

Remove the stress of getting to your destination. Of course you can always go “old school” and use the map book we provide.

TABLE & CHAIRS

Collapsible table and four chairs for outdoor use.

BIKE RACKS

Our bike racks can hold two bicycles or can be used to carry extra luggage.

PORTABLE DVD PLAYER

Where you need extra entertainment for the journey or evenings.

BEDDING and TOWELS

Per person per hire. Two options:
a) Purchase of new sleeping bag and towel which are yours to keep after the hire period
b) Hire of quilt, pillows, covers and towels

As standard, you will be liable for the first £750 (Excess) of all insurance claims during the rental period.  

Windscreen and tyres are not included in the above insurance. Hence, you are responsible for the full cost of windscreen and tyre repair / replacement. Fire damage caused by negligence or malice is also excluded from the above insurance cover.

Additional insurance costs will apply in the following cases:

• you need an additional driver (one driver as standard)
• the driver(s) have motoring convictions or endorsements on their drivers licence (eg. speeding offences)
• the driver(s) have a history of motoring accidents
• you hold a non-UK drivers licence
• you want to travel to Ireland or Europe

We attempt to keep these charges to a minimum.  Costs will be quoted at the time of booking and payable prior to hire.

4. Security Deposit

A £500 security deposit is taken at the time of hire.  This can be paid by credit card, cash or traveller cheque.   We will not cash this deposit unless required.  The security deposit is fully refundable where you return the van as follows:

• to the agreed location at no later than the agreed date and time (you will also be un-insurance if you return late)
• in the same condition as it was let out to you
• with the interior clean including all cooking appliances (a £100 cleaning charge will otherwise apply)
• with a full tank of unleaded fuel

 

5. Payment and Cancellation

A non refundable booking deposit of £150 is taken when we confirm your reservation for a van rental period.

The balance is due 6 weeks prior to departure or at the time of booking if less than 6 weeks to departure.

Any extras you request (eg. awnings, bike racks, satellite navigation, additional insurance) will be included in the final balance payment.

We accept payment by bank transfer and the following major debit and credit cards:

If you cancel your booking up to 2 weeks before departure we will refund 50% of the total hire charge.  If you cancel your booking less than 2 weeks before departure the amount paid is non-refundable.

If due to circumstances, beyond our control, the reserved campervan is not available we reserve the right to offer a suitable alternative. If an alternative is not available our liability is limited to a maximum of the total hire charge less booking deposit.

6. Van Collection and Return Times

You collect and return your van as follows:

There is a late return charge of £50 per hour.  Please note you will not be insured if you return the van late and hence will be committing a motoring offence.  Clearly, this also has an impact on the people hiring the van after you.

7. Rental Period Restrictions

The following key restrictions apply:

• Travel into Europe and Ireland only with written consent prior to departure (to be requested at the time of booking)
• No one way rentals
• No smoking (a £300 charge will apply where this is not observed)
• No pets (we offer a dog sitting service)
• The number of passengers is limited to the capacity stated in each van specification (typically 4 or 5 seats dependent on model)
• All motoring fines (eg. speeding fines and parking tickets) and charges (eg. tolls) are your responsibility
• No unauthorised towing (the RAC is the only authorised recovery agent - included in our service)
• You should only use unleaded fuel
